Policy Statement

Ellis Eggs undertakes activities that involve the grading, packaging, storage and transportation of eggs. It is our policy to provide our customers with products, which meet agreed standards of SAFETY, QUALITY,LEGALITY and AUTHENTICITY:

  • We shall comply with all relevant food and hygiene legislation and related regulations, customer technical codes of practice and endorse the application of best practice guidelines
  • Ellis Eggs shall, at all times, use good manufacturing practices in the production of its products, which in the first instance are in compliance with all current legislation within the UK
  • We endorse the use of certificated quality management systems and HACCP technique based upon risk assessment. To support this a quality manual has been established
  • We actively promote the philosophy that quality and customer satisfaction is achieved first time every time by the involvement and commitment of all employees
  • We promote awareness of quality and food safety issues and provide training and continual development for our employees
  • We encourage all employees to assist the business with new and innovative ideas for both new and existing products
  • We encourage all employees to have an understanding of cost efficiency and the impacts of waste
